With one large continuous pitch to the stylish yet discreet tile-in linear drain, the Tuff Form Ultimate Linear shares all the same structural properties of Tuff Form Shower Bases, as it’s made from lightweight yet incredibly strong compression molded glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) which offers superior support for people using wheelchair and/or needing assistance with showering, and is the ideal foundation for large format ceramic tile or natural stone.

- Made from compression molded glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) for superior strength
- 840lbs max. capacity when installed on 16″ o.c. joist systems, enough to support a wheelchair user and carer
- Waffle underside ensures rigidity while being lightweight (approx. 105lbs)
- Install on wooden joists (no need to notch, lower or alter joists), sub-floor, or concrete
- Can be cut down to size using standard power tools (within 6″ of drain)
- Single pitch directs water flow towards drain for efficient drainage
- 2% per foot or greater gradient
- 2” drain outlet is the only part sitting below the floor joist system
- 7/8″ thick around perimeter
- 1¾” wide leveling rim around perimeter with pre-bored, countersunk pilot holes
- Finish with tile or stone (between ¼”-1″ thick)
- Stainless-steel trims (available a la carte) ensure tidy join between pitched base and adjacent level floor
- Supplied with a 2” PVC drain connector as standard
- Durable and re-useable; remove and replace tile without damaging the base
