Description
FastDEK Linear shower bases are constructed using lightweight yet durable compression mold glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) enabling them to support a maximum capacity of 550lbs, with a stone-effect textured surface that helps to improve drainage and aid with slip-resistance, and an art deco inspired stainless-steel linear drain cover that sits in the center of the base.
At only an inch deep, FastDEK Linear bases can either sit on top of or be built into the floor for low or level access, ensuring access for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.

- Made from compression molded glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) for reliable strength
- 550lbs max. capacity when installed on 16″ o.c. joist systems, ideal for wheelchair users
- 1” thick across base and along perimeter
- Can be installed above the floor for low-level access, or recessed into it for complete barrier free access to the shower
- Grid design on base underside ensures rigidity while being lightweight (approx. 45lbs)
- Install on wooden joists (no need to notch, lower or alter joists), sub-floor, or concrete
- Drain concealed with stainless-steel, art deco inspired linear drain cover
- 3” drain hole diameter
- Compatible with standard drain connector
- 4 pre-sloped gradient planes direct water flow towards drain
- 1% per foot or greater gradient (varies due to length of pitch)
- Contemporary, white stone-effect surface texture offers superior slip-resistance (no need to tile)
