Back in January we announced some exciting news; ARC is now operating under our new name – AKW Resource Center.
We’re part of the global AKW Holdings Group, leading suppliers of accessible bathroom products, who acquired ARC in 2020. As suppliers to the North American market, we sit alongside AKW Medi-Care, a market leader in the UK; AKW International, who operate across Europe; and DLP, our design experts in the British Isles.
We’re very proud to align ourselves with the AKW Group of companies, a brand recognized and trusted by contractors and healthcare specialists across the world, who join us on our mission to make life better for those with limited mobility and health conditions.
Pat McGee, VP of Sales, traveled to Fresno, CA to attend THASIE 24 at the beginning of March, a fantastic new event that saw a variety of suppliers present live product demonstrations and training sessions.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who organized, attended, and presented over the weekend, we were blown away by the support and welcome we received, we’re honored to have been part of it and hope to contribute to its growth.

Launching later this year, two new sizes of FastDEK Shower Bases. FastDEK shower bases will soon be available in two new sizes – 59″ x 31 1/2″ and 59″ x 35 1/2″ – the ideal size for replacing a bath tub when this becomes no longer practical.
These new size bases will also feature a stylish square drain cover which matches the color and surface texture of the base. A stainless-steel grate will also be available to order a la carte.
