International Tile & Marble’s emphasis on family values make them Virginia and North Carolina’s premier ceramic importer and distributor. Since 1984, the company has grown in strength and now has two showrooms in Chesapeake and Outer Banks, NC. These sites proudly provide design consultation and in-person customer selections for residential and commercial applications.
Morris Tile has been a major supplier of tile and installation materials to Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia since 1953. With 12 locations, they offer the latest in ceramic, porcelain, natural stone and glass tile from many leading manufacturers. Morris Tile welcomes homeowners, contractors, dealers, designers and architects, and can assist with design, selection and purchase.

Despite the summer rain, on July 9th, AKW Medi-Care Ltd’s new showroom and manufacturing facility was officially opened. In attendance was the High Sheriff of Cheshire and Mayor of Middlewich who cut a ribbon and unveiled a commemorative plaque. Nick Parsons, Executive Chair of AKW Holdings Group and namesake of the building, was also present with other AKW senior leaders.
Following AKW’s acquisition of Contour Showers Limited in 2022, it became clear that the existing facility could not meet AKW’s manufacturing requirements. Subsequently, a new production site was found just a few miles away and taken on under a long-term lease.
The new site also includes offices and a large bathroom and kitchen showroom and client assessment center. This will enable Occupational Therapists, contractors, and specifiers to browse AKW’s product range in situ and receive training as needed.
Middlewich is the second AKW showroom to open in the UK, with another located in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire.
